Book Week Dressups
Each year Arwons Little Angels celebrates book week, literacy and a love of reading by inviting children to dress up as their favourite character. The children are encouraged to bring in their favourite book and we take turns reading each-others favourite stories.
The educators get into the spirit, donning their favourite character costume, and sharing their own favourite stories too.
Father's Day
On Father's Day we invited Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles and Guardians to visit the service for some afternoon tea and activities. We had a sausage sizzle and the children enjoyed some fun experiences with their Dads, such as wood work with nails and screws, decorating ties, and making paper planes.
Educational Programs
Our service delivers play-based educational programs based on developmental milestones, children's interests, skills, and the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0.We pride ourselves on our engaging learning experiences, promoting holistic development for children. We invite children to join in art and craft activities, sensory play, cooking experiences, gardening, natural exploration, roleplay and to engage with technology, just to name a few. All of these experiences promote children's sense of wonder, confidence, curiosity and their desire to learn.
Nursery
Our service caters for children from 6 weeks of age in our nursery room. Children in this room are invited to engage with cooking experiences, art and craft, sensory play, and other physically challenging experiences, to promote their early development.
Our nurturing educators develop strong relationships with these children, following their individual routines, and develop an educational program for them based upon their developmental milestones, interests and skills.
